It is hard to believe the school year is more than halfway over. And if you blinked, that stretch from January until February break has now has gone by.
As with any vacation, it is important for teachers to relax and recharge the batteries for the next stretch.
Some things to keep on the radar certification.
State Certification: Although it is never encouraged to do any type of schoolwork during a vacation. It’s important to maintain a state certification for teaching or else you might not have a job. So be sure you’re on top of that.
Taking Classes: A teacher should fully understand the teaching contract. and know when you’re next pay increase will happen.,
Take Care of Loose Ends: February Vacation is a good opportunity to do your taxes, see family, and friends, and schedule doctors appointments.
Take a Vacation: Going on a vacation is a great opportunity for teachers who can afford it. If you live in New England, a visit to one of the New England Ski Resorts is another great option. People can go away for a few days or make a day trip skiing at a local mountain.
It also was a great chance to get away to warmer climate.
Staycation: February vacation can be a time to explore your area. Visit a museum, aquarium, or see a play. It also is good to get out of the kitchen and eat out for dinner.
We hope you have a great break and are ready for Boston the next stretch of the school year.
