Carmel Bakery “We Bake While You Sleep” See Monterey County, CA has amazing pastries and coffee. We purchased a black coffee and Carmel, I am sorry, caramel macchiato. The were fantastic. The bakery was located in the lobby of the Portola Hotel. There were two workers who were working diligently and together. There is a limited number of pastries, so do not be disappointed if you arrive later in the morning and have more limited choices.
The also offer sandwiches.
