With the popularity of social media, there is this concept of NFL power couples. Tom Brady and Giselle, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, and in 2026, we have seen the emergence of Ann Michael Maye and Drake Maye of the New England Patriots.
In any Super Bowl unit, it is important to look at publicity. Social media platforms are used by the league and individual athletes to tell a story. It is important to see how these individuals, teams, and the NFL use social media platforms.
There are many ways students can be engaged with social media. Teachers should not encourage students to join social media, but since the majority of high school students are active, it only makes sense that they are aware of how professional athletes and professional leagues communicate with fans and create revenue for themselves and the league.
The New England Patriots’ rise to the Super Bowl LX is amazing. With this success came the introduction of Anne Michael May to the New England Patriots fan base. Most famous was her Beyond Bakemas episode then introduced some fantastic cookies to the Patriot and cooking audience.
