The “Go-To” Massachusetts STEM Education Resource
The Massachusetts Biotechnology Education Foundation (MassBioEd) is a non-profit organization based in Cambridge committed to supporting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and biotechnology education in Massachusetts through educational programs, workforce development, and lifelong learning.
Our flagship program, BioTeach, has reached 185 public high schools, providing technical training to over 600 science teachers as well as providing dynamic laboratory opportunities for thousands of students. Through our Job Shadow Day and Biotech Futures programs, students connect the classroom to the real world and discover a passion for a future in STEM.

Invite a Speaker Feature: Massachusetts educators – Fill out our request form and we will connect you with a professional from the life sciences industry to come speak with your students. Hosting a presentation in your classroom gives students a chance to connect with an industry professional and hear first-hand about exciting career and educational opportunities. Here, students can find the best free online courses available on the web compiled into one place. The Learning Resources page is also a helpful resource for students who are struggling to grasp STEM concepts.
