The word is out state tournament is under the way communities are following the local high school team, and there will be many fans who have attended the majority of home games and they will be people who come out of the woodwork to see their first game of the season. Relatives are more likely to attend because this is the chance could be the final game of the season.
These games are played on the first weekend the playoffs. There’s nothing like a packed gym during state tournament game. Be sure to get there early to get a good seat. Heaven forbid the game sells out and you must watch on live stream or miss the game completely.
What to expect during this round:
- Cinderella has come to the ball maybe not in every division but there will be a Cinderella story.
- A team has worked hard all season and like all teams going through injuries, adversity illness, and now everything is clicking.
- Legends will be made.
- Storylines will start to unfold.
- The mighty will fall in a big upset.
- A player may score his 1000 point maybe become 1000 points.
- Let’s not forget the officials thank you.
- Uniforms will be collected.
- Coaches and players will start planning for the off-season.
- Crowds will get creative and loud.
