  • I have been a teacher for over 15 years and enjoy working with students and unlocking their hidden potential. I am trained in Wilson, Lindamood Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing, Project Read Phonology, Project Read Story Form, and Project Read Report Form. Currently I am a fourth and fifth grade special education teacher in reading and math and have worked as a multi-sensory reading teacher in middle school. Upon receiving parent and student feedback, I will administer informal assessments to design an individualized program for your child. I can help your child with phonological processing, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and written expression. I also have experience teaching elementary school math and I use a hands-on multi-sensory approach to reinforce and teach new concepts. I strive to make each lesson rewarding, motivating, and fun and truly enjoy working with students. Currently, I am working on my C.A.G.S. degree and my Reading Specialist license. I prefer to do tutoring at the Duxbury Library as there are study rooms there but maybe available to travel within the local area. I charge $60 an hour or $70 for one hour and 15 minutes. I can also design a home summer component as this yields greater results.
