The internet is filled with tons of writing and a lot of it is of a high standard. If you want to break into that elite crowd, you need to write content that is original. Content creation is a skill and it is not for everyone. We sometimes believe that all you have to do is rewrite content already out there.

If you want to make a name for yourself as a writer or a blogger, you need to continue working on your writing. It takes a lot pf practice and dedication to get this right. Writing content that is unique has a lot to do with knowing who you are. If you are comfortable with whom you are, it is much easier to find that unique edge in your writing. Spend time brainstorming

We often look to what is already on the internet and try and build content around that. Instead, you can come up with your own content if you spend some time brainstorming. Write down everything you come up with and use this as the foundation for what has to come next.

Research

Now that you have completed your brainstorming session, you can start your researching phase. This is where the hard work begins. Do not solely rely on the internet for your researching sources. There is still a lot of value in libraries, although we hardly go there to research. Broaden the sources that you use. This is dependent on that your topic is and where you would find the most information. Do more than what the average writer would do. Know what is out there and use it to the best of your abilities. 

Freedom to write

Instead of conforming to all of the writing rules out there, you need to write freely. This does not mean that you should not adhere to the grammar and spelling rules, but find freedom in writing. You need to use your voice and the uniqueness of who you are to expand your writing. It takes time to find your own voice when you write, but it is within your reach. Even paraphrasing programs have software to write in simple terms. Be who you are and the readers will like it. We are all human beings so there is never a need to write like a robot. In fact, you have a better chance of connecting with an audience if you write the way you speak.  

How do you keep your articles unique?

Your voice still matters and it is your voice that will bring out the unique articles. Imagine having a conversation with someone you are really close to. You do not overthink what you are about to say next. You simple speak. This is how you should approach your writing, while considering grammar rules. Before you know it, you will be writing tons of original content. Keep your readers happy and everything else will follow.
